Crocus purple petals

Robin scolds from apple tree

We silently wait

Shake, Bud, Bloom,

Like a Rocket Ship

Spinning quickly

Towards home plate

Wide-eyed

Batter

Swings wildly

Blind luck wins

Warning, Coughing, Gasping,
